What two complaints by the mayor can tell us about the next municipal election

What happened: Mayor Ken Sim registered two complaints to the integrity commissioner against OneCity Coun. Christine Boyle.

Sharing a vote: The first alleged she breached the code of conduct by sharing her vote from an in-camera meeting publicly — these meetings are held in private — noting that she voted against cancelling the living wage policy, according to Vancouver is Awesome. The complaint was filed on March 7 and it cost her $7,000 in legal fees to fight.
