
Not a writer by trade, Geoff realized if no one was going to write about local issues the way he hoped, he thought he’d give it a try. He’s the publisher of the Lookout, the editor and often-times writer. You can also find him writing about Vancouver’s food and drink sceneGeoff is based out of Vancouver and Whitehorse. You can find him at his favourite Italian restaurant, visiting a new coffee shop, or hunched over a computer screen writing the latest edition of the newsletter.

Nate is a reporter, writer, and editor born and raised in Vancouver. Nate writes about a wide array of subjects, from politics, city and provincial policy, and infrastructure projects, to arts and culture, social movements, and sports. Maddi is a national award–nominated multimedia journalist and editor based in Vancouver. She began her career reporting on the Downtown Eastside and has since covered the ins and outs of the health beat, as well as politics, arts and culture, labour, technology and more. You can find her work in The Tyee, Healthy Debate, FilterMag, The Sick Times, and of course, Vancity Lookout. Outside of work, Maddi can often be found at one of Vancouver’s many trivia nights, immersed in a book or podcast at the park, or escaping to the nearest swimmable body of water.
