A vacant lot at the corner of Dunsmuir and Richards streets, the former site of the historic Dunsmuir Hotel, demolished due to neglect, stands out beside the forest of towers that surround it.
Holborn Group, the developer that owns the property, wants to make that empty lot – and the adjacent parkade and commercial buildings – into three towers, ranging from 68 to 79 storeys high. If built, it would make them the three tallest buildings in Vancouver, with the largest being the tallest in B.C.
