Forgotten Pacific Plaza has memorable food options
A place like this isn’t flashy. It doesn’t make news on TikTok. But it's got some worthy stops to check out.

Richmond food malls come in all shapes and sizes. Some have some incredible hidden gem finds that people can’t stop talking about, and some, like Aberdeen Mall, have every kind of food place you can imagine.
Others, like my trip to Pacific Plaza, are a little different.
A place like this isn’t flashy. It doesn’t make news on TikTok. The last review of it was from 2010 (no joke). There are only two Yelp reviews. There’s even a recent story about how they’re working to upgrade the mall, calling it “forgotten.”
Getting to discover and visit places like this, and knowing readers like you will read it, is one reason I love writing these types of reviews.
Like many Chinese food courts in Richmond, it’s up a flight of stairs and you have to walk through the building to find it. But don’t let that discourage you. The three places I tried are all worthy of a stop if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Snack King Eatery is another excellent addition to my ever-growing list of Taiwan beef noodle spots, which includes Xi An and Red Beef.
